As the trends from Coachella began to trickle in, we immediately noticed a variety of loud hair colors – from neon green to pops of pink. One of our favorites this year was DOVE CAMERON, she looked impeccable with a picture-perfect, baby doll pink. Want to learn how to emulate this look?

Kylie Jenner Rocks Neon Yellow & Purple Hair At Coachella — Vote On Your Fave
Coachella is always THE place to rock colored strands and Kylie rocked two outrageous shades at the music festival on April 14. Vote on your favorite below.
Kylie Jenner is known for her brightly colored wigs, and she broke out two new ones for the first weekend of Coachella on April 14.
First up, she showed off her self-described “highlighter hair.” A neon green shade, styled in a blunt bob. It was in a deep side part with dark roots. She also described the hair with a lemon emoji and a tennis ball emoji on Instagram.
KEVIN.MURPHY’s COLOR.ME Design Director, Kate Reid commented on the look: “Kylie’s newest debut shows that yellow can be worn on all skin [tones]. My tip is when it’s not the most suitable, show a little natural [growth at the roots]. This will soften the skin and enhance the eyes, making it much more complementary.”

Of course, it’s a wig, but the “roots” do make it appear more natural!

On April 15, she switched up the yellow in favor of bright purple locks. The bob was wavy and “wet” — with tons of texture.
Kate said this look was much more couture.
“I loved Kylie’s deep violet bob. This year, we saw navy [hair] at fashion week in Moschino and Gucci; this was the perfect evolution. That chunky texture can really only be created by the perfect combination of products. Try KEVIN MURPHY FREE.HOLD with MOTION.LOTION. The color is again, flawless.”
FREE.HOLD is a medium hold styling cream while MOTION.LOTION is a curl-enhancing lotion. Apply both to wet hair and diffuse or air dry, depending on your curl type. The wet hair look is not going anywhere!

When we first caught wind of hair color trends like "opal" and "oil slick," as fun as they were, it was easy to dismiss them as passing fads. That was the summer of 2015, and almost exactly a year later, I sat in a salon chair as a stylist dyed my dark-brown hair pink. That truth alone might illustrate just how confounding the longevity of the pastel hair trend has been, not least to industry insiders. (You can keep telling us that it's "so over," French hairstylists, but our Instagram feeds—and the Versace catwalk—tell a different story.)

I’m so obsessed with Kevin Murphy!!!!! I’ve admired his products for so long but getting the opportunity to spend the afternoon with him took my admiration to the next level. What an absolutely delightful person, who completely lived up to his hype. After months of struggling with my hair color — I loved being blonde but the colorists I was working with a few months back kept giving me weird highlights at the root and the intense black root to blonde highlight was not working for me at all. Expecting full well to walk into my color appointment with Kevin and ask for an ombre or some way of fixing the disaster that was my hair, he alongside his amazing Director of Color, Kate Reid had something else in mind: rose gold.
